Based in Long Beach, CA and founded by Robbie Luongo in 1993. We are a full service design firm. Our goal is to achieve the best design to suit our client’s needs. We work closely with clients from conception to completion. After graduating from CSULB with a BA Degree in Design, Robbie’s career began as the In-house Store Designer for Macy’s Department Stores in 1987. She quickly became the Senior Designer managing the in-house design team and designing the remodels for all Macy’s stores in Southern California until the spring of 1993. Robbie started LDG in the summer of 1993 with Macy’s as the first client. In the fall of 1995, Robbie was contracted by Macy’s to remodel and convert all Broadway Department Stores in Southern California to Macy’s Department Stores which included multi-million dollar renovations with over one million square feet of retail space combined.
LDG originally specialized in retail store design but quickly expanded to all facets of design making Robbie Luongo a prolific designer. Today, the company has successfully designed spaces that include retail chains, specialty retailers, corporate offices, medical & optical offices, salons, restaurants/nightclubs/supper clubs as well as residential design.
